Printing method

DTF

DTF (Direct to Film) is a modern digital textile printing method. It makes it possible to produce vibrant, full-colour prints with photographic detail, smooth tonal transitions and exceptional precision. The design is first printed onto a specialist transfer film, coated with a dedicated adhesive powder and then heat-pressed onto the fabric.

DTF is an extremely versatile technology that performs particularly well where other printing methods may be less suitable. It offers a cost-effective solution for both individual items and larger production runs. It works perfectly on cotton, polyester and more demanding synthetic fabrics.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

As many as you like - DTF prints in full colour, so the number of colours, gradients and photographs do not affect the price the way they do in screen printing.

Vector artwork (PDF, AI, EPS) or raster artwork at a minimum of 300 dpi at 1:1 scale, ideally with a transparent background (PNG).

It is, although for very large runs of single-colour clothing screen printing can be cheaper. For multicolour designs, DTF wins regardless of the quantity.
