Sustainable production
Thoughtful garment branding with an eco-conscious, low-waste approach. At Fabryka CMYKa, we believe modern garment decoration should go hand in hand with caring for the planet. For us, responsible business is more than a fashionable slogan. It means taking responsibility for the entire process, from selecting materials and maintaining safe production standards to the way each order is packed before it reaches you.
Our eco philosophyThree pillars of action
Products and materials
We believe in transparency. We analyse the entire supply chain and continuously increase the proportion of garments in our catalogue that are made from certified organic materials and recycled fibres such as rPET. We work exclusively with trusted and well-established clothing brands.
Eco-conscious printing
Sustainable production is an everyday technological challenge we actively embrace. We use modern, environmentally responsible inks and components that are safe for both people and the planet. At the same time, we continuously optimise energy consumption across our machinery and production processes.
Low-waste logistics
We aim to keep the carbon footprint of our shipments as low as possible. We have completely eliminated plastic stretch film from our packing process. All orders are shipped in bulk cartons that are reused wherever possible, helping us reduce the creation of new packaging waste.
ECO-CONSCIOUS LOGISTICS AND ZERO-WASTE PACKAGING
We pack every order responsibly. For us, environmental responsibility does not end when the garments leave the printing machine. We continue to minimise our impact when your order leaves our production facility. That is why we have introduced clear packaging principles based on a zero-waste approach
Giving cardboard boxes a second life (re-use)
Your order is shipped in the same sturdy bulk cartons in which garments are delivered to us by manufacturers. We do not order new packaging when existing boxes can be reused. This helps us reduce paper consumption and limit the demand for new raw materials.
No plastic stretch film
We have completely eliminated both black and transparent stretch film from our packaging and pallet-securing processes. All shipments are protected using more environmentally responsible solutions.
Reducing plastic waste
We do not unnecessarily repackage garments in individual plastic bags. Orders are packed together wherever possible, keeping polymer waste to an absolute minimum.
Eco-conscious screen-cleaning system
Our pre-press department is equipped with a modern automated screen-cleaning system that uses biodegradable cleaning agents selected with environmental safety in mind.
Closed-loop water system (Zero Waste)
Screens are cleaned and reclaimed using a closed filtration cycle. Water and cleaning solutions are repeatedly filtered and reused within the system. This significantly reduces the amount of industrial wastewater generated and keeps overall water consumption at our facility to a minimum.
Compliance with strict standards
We take great care to prevent chemical substances from entering the natural environment. This approach reflects our commitment to high standards for clean and responsible production, supported by the certifications held by the inks and materials we use.
Eco-innovation: sustainable screen preparation and a closed-loop water system
Sustainability in our printing facility is not limited to the finished product. It also means taking responsibility for the technology and processes behind it. We understand the environmental challenges associated with traditional screen cleaning, which is why Fabryka CMYKa has completely redesigned this part of the production process.
Certified inks and safer printing solutions
At Fabryka CMYKa, we believe sustainability should apply not only to the garment itself, but also to the products used to decorate it. Our printing processes use carefully selected, laboratory-tested inks and components. Many of the inks, bases and printing pastes we use are supplied by recognised international manufacturers, including Avient, Tiflex, Manoukian, Sico and Kodak, and are covered by relevant environmental and product-safety certifications:
OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT
Selected inks used in our production, including specialist silicone, plastisol and water-based inks, as well as digital printing inks, are certified under the OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT system. This confirms that the chemical products have been tested against established criteria for harmful substances and are suitable for use in more responsible textile production.
GOTS Approved Input (Ecocert Greenlife) and ZDHC MRSL conformance (Level 1 & Level 3)
Selected screen-printing bases and inks used by us are approved as chemical inputs for processing GOTS-certified textiles. This means that they meet the relevant environmental and chemical requirements defined by the Global Organic Textile Standard. Selected pigments and printing components used by Fabryka CMYKa meet the requirements of the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List at the applicable conformance level, supporting the responsible management and reduction of hazardous chemicals throughout textile production.
Clothing standards from our trusted suppliers
We work exclusively with established global distributors (such as Malfini, Solo Group and JHK), whose products supplied for our projects hold international certifications including OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, GOTS & OCS (Organic Content Standard) and GRS (Global Recycled Standard).
Frequently asked questions
Organic clothing is made from cotton grown without synthetic fertilisers, genetically modified seeds or conventional chemical pesticides, in accordance with the requirements of the relevant certification scheme. Certified organic supply chains are subject to environmental and social criteria throughout the production process, from fibre processing and spinning to garment manufacturing. This supports more responsible production and provides greater transparency regarding the origin of the materials.
For organic and responsibly sourced textiles, we recommend decoration methods that complement the character and intended use of the garment. Computerised embroidery is an excellent choice for a durable, elegant and timeless finish. Modern digital methods such as DTF printing and screen printing with carefully selected, certified inks can also produce high-quality and long-lasting results.
We pack our eco-conscious orders using a low-waste approach. Wherever possible, garments are shipped in sturdy bulk cartons reused from deliveries received from our suppliers, giving the packaging a second life. We have also eliminated plastic stretch film from our packing process and avoid unnecessary individual plastic bags wherever possible.
Sustainable clothing is a premium product, so its price can be slightly higher than budget items. This is due to the higher cost of certified crops, the care taken to meet eco standards and the excellent material quality. For companies, however, it is a worthwhile investment that builds the image of a responsible brand and meets modern ESG reporting requirements.
Yes, it is just as durable, and often even more hard-wearing than conventional polyester. The recycling process produces full-value, flexible fibres that perform excellently in sportswear, jackets and softshells, retaining great resistance to the elements and repeated washing.
Of course. The safety of your order is our priority. Before production starts, our graphics team prepares a complete digital visualisation. On it we check the exact position, size and colours of the logo on the chosen garment. The machines only start once we have received your official approval.
